Gingerbread for the Mouse A story about kindness I wrote and illustrated in 2022. One Christmas, a badger realized he had no ginger for his cookies. That same night, a lost little mouse knocked on his door, seeking shelter from the cold. The badger took her in, and on Christmas Eve, he found a jar of ginger on his doorstep — a gift of gratitude from the mouse.
